He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille McCleary; and his brother James E. McCleary. He is survived by: his sons, Richard V. McCleary (Stefanie) of Westfield and James D. McCleary of Manhattan Beach, CA; and his grandchildren, Gabriel McClure of Manhattan Beach, CA, Devin R. McCleary of Royal Oak, MI and Wesley J. McCleary of Westfield.
