He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Rae Gensch; his sister Donna Belle Miner; and his son-in-law Mark Horina. He is survived by: his children, Herbert "Bart" Charles Gensch (Sherrie), Richard "Rick" Wayne Gensch (Mary Helen), Suzy Horina, Sarah Dillon (Matt) and Sandra Wireman (Greg); and his sister Beverly Kimball.
