He is survived by: his wife Kathy Chaplin; his children, Beth Ann Jungels and Dean Allen Chaplin of Warsaw; his stepson Christopher Andrew Gallion of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Peyton Christopher Blayze Balazs of Warsaw, Tanner Weston Balazs of Warsaw and Brianna Alaina Chaplin of Burket; and his brother Thomas Chaplin of Mishawaka.
