He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Moyer and Mabel Moyer (Bowlby); and his siblings, James Allen Moyer and Barbara Ann Roth. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moyer; his children, Beth Smith (Stuart) and Jon Moyer; and his brother William D. Moyer (Sandy).
