He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Porter (Vest); his sons, William Porter of Warsaw and Jon Porter (Susan) of Lansing, IL; his grandchildren, Billy Porter of Madison, WI, Shawn Porter of Lebanon, TN, Diana Kreiger (Troy) of Pewaukee, WI, Alia Randham (Charlie) of Cedar Lake, Bryan Porter (Jamie) of Portage and Nikki Kasher (Alex) of Lowell; and his great grandchildren, Shawn Porter, Alex Porter, Molly Waterstreet of Pewaukee, WI, Robbie Randham of Cedar Lake, Emily of Lowell and Rebecca Kasher of Lowell.
On November 16, 2016, in a ceremony at the Pete Thorn Center, Phil was presented a beautiful handmade quilt from the Quilts of Valor Foundation, awarded to those Service Members and Veterans who have been touched by war.
