She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Weiss and Irma Weiss (Roekle). She is survived by: her significant other Carl Ellis; her children, Dr. Andrea Ellis (Gabrielle) of Fort Wayne and Paul Ellis (Bess) of Chicago; her siblings, Kurt Weiss, Jeannie Muehlfeld (Karl), John Weiss (Marjie) and Karl Weiss; her brother-in-law Michael Ellis (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Griffin Scremin, Oliver Ellis, Elliot Scremin and Hazel Ellis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
