She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Barnhart and Leatha Barnhart (Valentine); and her former husband Jay D. Boyer. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charles E. Hassel; her children, Troy Boyer (Sheila) of Broken Arrow, OK and Michelle Boyer (Shelleigh) of Syracuse; her grandsons, Brooks Boyer of Broken Arrow, J. Braden Boyer of Fort Smith, AR and Braxton Studabaker of Milford; her great grandchild Ryker Boyer (Donna Leonhard); and her sister Donna Leonhard (Ryker Boyer). She is also survived by three stepchildren.
