He was predeceased by: his parents, June Marjorie Shapiro (Sigman) and Harold Shapiro; and his wife Penny. He is survived by: his children, Matthew, Jacob, Joshua, Samuel Shapiro and Hannah Shapiro; his brothers, Richard Lecocq Shapiro (Amy) and Stuart Shapiro (Susan); his parents-in-law, Bob and Linda Munson; and his brother-in-law Robert Munson (Brai).
