He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Saffen and Mary Saffen (Shire); his wife Karen Saffen (Dedmon); his daughter Tanya Smith; his brother Steve Saffen; and his grandchildren, Conner Bale and Hallie Bale.
