He is survived by: his wife Carolyn of Warsaw; his children, Laura Hale (David) of Warsaw, Renee Parker (Rob) of Winona Lake and Josh (Stephanie) of Holly Springs; his grandchildren, Samantha Hale (Calvin Bender), Courtney Hale, Trenton Parker, Ella Lutes, Kiersten Parker, Lila Lutes and Owen Lutes; and his brother Chris Lutes (Janet).
