He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Shank and Frances Shank (Miller); his brother David E. Shank; and his grandparents, Roy, Hariett Shank, Harry Miller and Mildred Courteau.
He is survived by: his wife Diana L. Shank (Flesher); his daughters, Amy Bultemeyer (Dean) and Jennifer Parsons (Jerry); his grandchildren, Zachary, Audie Wirthlin (Brian), Nolan Parsons, Conrad, Chloe and Christian Bultemeyer; and his great grandchild Suttyn Wirthlin. He is also survived by cousin, and many friends.
Memorial contributions in Mike's honor may be directed to North Winona Church of the Brethren in lieu of flowers.
