He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Sainer; his wife Carol; his children, Shannon Dirck (Doug) of Warsaw, Rob Blackford of Warsaw, Heather Drudge (Josh) of New Paris, James Skeans Jr. of China, Gretchen Melnick (Phil) of New Jersey and Elizabeth Corcoran (Aaron); and his sister Anne Bailey (Herb) of Warsaw. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
