She was predeceased by: her parents, Almeta Louise Faulkner (Yarman) and Raymond Dee Faulkner; and her son Shawn Baker. She is survived by: her husband Larry Eugene Baker; her daughter Aleta Smith (Chauncey); her grandchildren, Dustin Baker (Carla), Brooks Smith (Tyler), Jared Smith (Taylor), Christopher Baker (Rachel) and Heather Baker (Matt); and her brother Devon Faulkner (Linda). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Six feet of social distancing should be maintained and masks are required for the visitation and service.

Memorial donations may be directed to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc., P.O. Box 678572, Dallas, Texas 75267-8572 and would be appreciated by the family.

We shared time together in recent years at the Baker House in Beulaville, NC when Henry and I lived near Raleigh. It was a joy to become closer in these later years of our lives.
