She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Lucille (Platz) and Daniel Hamilton Smith; and her husband Dean Marshall Hoover. She is survived by: her pets, Coco and Brandy; her children, Shelia Ezeji, Michael (Deborah) and Gary (Lynette); and her siblings, Nancy Lemler, Carol Hooks and James Smith. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
