He was predeceased by: his father Timothy Owens; his grandparents, Jerry, Rosemary Chidester and Monna Owens; and his stepgrandmother Mildred.

He is survived by: his mother Carol Owens; his stepfather Terry; and his siblings, Danny Chidester, Shawn Chidester, Jamie White (Gordon), Dave, Scott and Paul. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
