He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald D. Deming and Edith "Iva" Deming (Hanson); and his siblings, James "Jim" Deming and Jerilyn Sheets. He is survived by: his wife Linda of Fort Wayne; his children, Kristina A. McComb of Fort Wayne, J. Paul Deming (Julie) of Syracuse and J. Scott Deming of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Ian, Melissa, J. Aaron, J. Andrew and Adam S. Deming; and his sisters, Judy Higgins (Don) of Fort Wayne and Joye Gardenour (Bill) of Bluffton.
Memorials may be made in John's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or Friends of the Ouabache State Park.
