She was predeceased by: her son Daniel Shepherd; and her brother Robert Mitchell. She is survived by: her parents, Robert Mitchell of Rochester and Edith Gühlcke (Pottharst) of Lübeck, Germany.; her children, Peter Shepherd of Warsaw and Emily Shepherd of Warsaw; her close friend Randal Clayton; and her sister Stephanie Augustin of Port Aransas, TX..
