She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Sievers and Annabelle Sievers (Cartwright); her husband Verlin Eugene Stayer; her granddaughter Brittney Pherigo; and her sister Mary Long.

She is survived by: her daughter Monda (Mark); her stepdaughter Cheryl (Greg); and her sister Connie Naish. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
