She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyce Hoffer and Bernice Hoffer (Detwiler); her son Richard McCleary; and her siblings, Keith "Doozy" Hoffer, DeVon Hoffer and Joanne Foster.
She is survived by: her friend August; her husband Ronald Buchholz; her children, Garry McCleary (Jackie), Barry McCleary (Brenda), Larry McCleary (Linda), Mark McCleary (Julia), Timothy Faurote (Rachel) and Linda McCleary-Chicchetti (John); her brothers, Wayne Hoffer (Martha) and DeVoe Hoffer (Lumi); her stepchildren, Pamela Buchholz, Patrice Buchholz, Ann Hartel (Jeff) and Amy O'Hare (Patrick); her daughter-in-law Lana McCleary; and her sisters-in-law, Fran Hoffer and Carol Hoffer. She is also survived by her seven children.
