He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Dean and Billie Lee Jacobs (Peterson); and his brother Michael Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Pansy Jacobs; and his stepchildren, Wendy Fairchild and Troy Fairchild (Laura Ferreira). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
