James J. Tibbets Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2020 we had to say goodbye to James J. Tibbets of Warsaw, Indiana, born in Carbon, Indiana. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of James J. Tibbets to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Tibbets and Zillah Tibbets (Baughman); and his siblings, Mildred Cochran, Marsha Decker and Earl.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes Ruth Tibbets (Ooley); and his children, James David Tibbets (Jane) of Elkhart, IN, Daniel Tibbets (Wendi), Susan Kintzel of Warsaw and Barbara Tibbets of Warsaw. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Due to Covid-19 a private service will be held with interment in the Mentone Cemetery, Mentone, Indiana with graveside military rites being performed in honor of Jim's service to his country.

Donations can be made in his memory to the Mentone United Methodist Church.
