He is survived by: his wife Linda Parrish; his children, Paul Nowak (Kate) and Jennifer Garrett (Bryan); his grandson Dylan Rose; his children, Maddie Nowak, Jacob Nowak, Carlee Rose and Sam Nowak; and his sister Jo Ellen Miller (Stephen) of South Bend.
