He is survived by: his grandchild El Camino; his wife Patricia "Patty" Wells; his children, James Garland (Shon) of Princeton, IN, Patricia Offut of Evansville, Kathy Spiker (Walter) of Greenfield, Melissa Diamond (Ben) of Chapman Lake, Fred Stewart (Katherine) of Atlanta, GA and Eric Stewart of Warsaw; and his brother John Garland (Imogene) of Greenfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
