With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imogene Canan (Warsaw, Indiana), born in Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on April 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer H. Placke and Irene Placke (Leab); her parents-in-law, George and Margaret Canan; her sister Patricia Hardwick; and her brothers-in-law, James Canan, Herbert Smith and Paul Serve.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Canan of Winona Lake, IN; her children, Jennifer (Brad), Sarah (Kevin), James (Laurel), Kimberly (Brad) and Jording of Roswell, GA; her grandchild Kerry Miller (Jessica); her children, Courtney Pickett (Brian), Kelsey Miller (Adam Tran), Jonathon Klepfer (Robyn), Erin Stiner (Silas), Derek Klepfer (Ali), Robert Canan (Molly) and Tyler Canan (Kelsey); her siblings, Annette Smith of Kalamazoo, MI, Mila Serve of Kettering, OH and Charles (Marsha); and her sister-in-law Mary Canan of Elyria, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
