He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Burnau and Martha Johnson Burnau; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Fullhart and David Evans. He is survived by: his wife Marthene Fullhart; his daughter Juli (Gary Vardaman); his siblings, Teresa Evans (Virginia), Donovan Burnau (Martha) and Jim Burnau (Aggie); and his grandchildren, Katie Caldwell and Mallory Keough (Tom). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family kindly request the memorial donations to: Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
