With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Salyer of Warsaw, Indiana, born in Silver Lake, Indiana, who passed away on January 30, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Salyer and Marie Salyer (Poe); and his siblings, Billy, Cecil, Gale and Erma.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Dianna Poppe (Darren) of Rockford, OH and Kathy Connors (Tim) of Warsaw; his grandchildren, Nicole Marsillett of Warsaw, Chadd Shumaker of Warsaw, Todd Shumaker of Warsaw, Michael Connors of Fort Wayne, Joshua Poppe of Rockford, Ryan Connors (Kristen) of Warsaw, Nate Poppe (Arielle) of Fort Wayne and Ethan Poppe of Rockford; and his brother Bob Salyer (Treva) of Nappanee. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Memorial gifts may be given to First Christian Church or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
