He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Bud" and Betty Landis (Bryant). He is survived by: his children, Chris Landis of Naples, FL and Michael Landis of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Taylor and Luke Landis; and his siblings, Phil Landis (Barbara) of Katy, TX and Janet Bennett (David) of Reynoldsburg, OH. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
