He was predeceased by: his father Faustino Alvarez; his stepfather Tony Gomez; and his sisters, Romy Alvarez and Maria Elena Castandeda. He is survived by: his mother Maria Piedad Garcia Gomez (California); his wife Adela Alvarez; his daughters, Maria McDonald (Pat), Patricia Alvarez (Matthew Stormer) and Silvia Alvarez (Mike Rizzo); his son-in-law Daniel Garcia; his grandchildren, Luke Garcia and Marina Rizzo; and his siblings, Faustino Alvarez, Jr. and Hilda Guajardo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
If six feet of social distancing is not maintained then masks are required for the visitation and service.
