He was predeceased by: his brothers, Arthur, Ted, Paul, Henry and Bill.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Engelberth; his children, Susan Heintz (Mike), Connie Lehe (Mike), Karen Engelberth, Lloyd Engelberth (Nora), Doug Engelberth (Ann) and Tom Engelberth (Ramona); and his siblings, Otto Engelberth (Mary) and Dorothy Hostetler (Dale). He is also survived by grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
