He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Zapata and Reyes Melendez Reyes; his wife Theresa Lynn Compton; his children, Elvin Reyes, Jr. (Irene) and Lisa Reyes Saez (Jose); his stepson Skyler Compton; his grandchildren, Yael Reyes, Joel Lorenzi, Breanna Saez, Jose Vuittonet (Denise), Christobal Vuittonet (Linda) and Adrian Vuittonet (Welcome); his siblings, Ben Reyes (Betsy), Anne Reyes and Carmen Vega (Nester); and his pets, Toby, Buddy and Milly.
