He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cleve Morris and Eva Morris (Farley); his wife Edna Mavis Lawson; and his children, Alvin D. Morris (Wendy), Billy R. Morris (Judy), Richard D. Morris (Martha), Gary W. Morris, Michael E and Marjorie A. Ellert.
