He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ira Spears and Pearl Spears (Sluss); his daughter Michelle Mayhew (Doug) of Claypool; his siblings, Irene Coons (Bill), Goldie Moore (Mike), Glen Spears (Sonia), Johnny Spears (Chris) and Jimmy Spears of Wabash; his grandchildren, Katie Avery and Brodie Avery; and his wife Velma Spears (Albertson).
