He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Strain (Gay) and Richard Strain. He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Strain; his daughter Jennifer "Jenny" Chirico (Robert); his stepchildren, Dawn McKown (Nebraska), Shelley Jones (Tennessee), Joe Ford (Virginia) and Greg Miller (Arkansas); and his sisters, Penny Fierstos (Dan) and Prudence Gamso (Stan). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
