He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha Bolen (Chafins) and Rant Bolen; his wife Norma Elaine Bolen; and his daughter Evelyn Elaine Bolen. He is survived by: his children, Peggy Davis (Mark), Norma Hodges (Lonny), Regina Bolen, April Meade (Michael) and Noble Bolen (Debbie); and his siblings, Mitchell Bolen, Elmer Bolen and Elsie Slone.
