He was predeceased by: his parents, Estil Blanton and Dorthy Blanton (Caudill); his siblings, Lois Slone (Bill) of Claypool and Gene Blanton (Sue) of Packerton; and his daughter Wendy Burchett.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Blanton of Warsaw; his son Larry Blanton (Sharon) of Warsaw; his grandsons, Michael Blanton (Gavin) of Warsaw and Darren Burchett (Melissa Rice) of Warsaw, Eric; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Abigail Rose and Zidion Rose.
The Blanton Family asks that in lieu of flowers, charitable contributions to the donor's favorite charity be considered.
