He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Russell Cox and Frances Eslinger Cox. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hobbs Cox; his sons, Douglas Cox (Stephanie) of San Antonio and Craig Cox (Jodi) of Warsaw; and his grandchildren, Caleb Cox (Faithann), Shayla Cox, Jaelyn Cox, Camden Cox and Kelsie Cox.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kosciusko County Hospice, or the building fund for Community Life Center in Warsaw Indiana.
