He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvine Ousley (Pitts) and Alvin Ousley; his siblings, Hager, Homer, Joner, Bernos Ousley and Hazel Haywood; and his grandson Darell Scott Ousley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Nancy Ousley (Salmons); his children, Donald Ousley (Tena), Gregory Ousley, Roger Ousley (Doris Kay) and Verdella Walters (Dale); and his siblings, Wade Ousley, Charles Ousley (Darlene) and Bernice Coon. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
