She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Fleming Haid and Lionel J. Haid; her siblings, Ray Slick and Sharon Sue Slick; her grandson Samuel Quinn Carpenter; and her brother-in-law Louis Holderman.

She is survived by: her friend Noble; her children, Carin Plothow (Tony) of Plymouth, Crista Carpenter (Mike Vetter) of Avon and Craig Carpenter (Liz) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Allison Shook (Shannda Martin), Tyler Shook (Audrey), Andria Shook (Sam Houston), Haley Plothow, Reagan Plothow, Audriana Plothow, Annaliese Plothow, Grace Carpenter, Benjamin Carpenter, Claire Carpenter and Adeline Vetter; her great grandchildren, Ava Shook, Noelin Shook and Bowie Shook; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Slick, Marjorie Holderman, Mary McIntire (Darrell) and Max King (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
