She was predeceased by: her parents, George May and Hazel May (Mitchell); her husband James T. Shanes, Jr.; and her sister Connie Beller of Indianapolis. She is survived by: her sons, James W. Shanes of Rochester and Scott Shanes of Connerville. She is also survived by several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
