She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Wappes and Helen Wappes (LaRue); her son Burdett Wappes; and her sister Sandy Hile. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Lisa" Francis (Lawney I), Paula Shearer (Cecil Fowler) and Edward Rose of Ligonier; her grandchildren, Trista Bartman of Pierceton, Michael Sutherlin of Warsaw, Lawney Francis II (Precious) of Etna Green and Jacob Francis of Warsaw; her great grandchildren, Delila, Emrys and Azazel; and her siblings, Linda Smith-Jones (Ray) of Albion and Barton Wappes of Pittsford, Mass..
