She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Sotomayor Saavedra and Mariana Quintero; and her husband Ramon Ignacio Islas. She is survived by: her children, Mirna Justice (Jeff), Tony Carrejo and Daniel Islas; her grandchildren, Valery Fernandez (Phil Konieczny), Sean Lackey, Jazmin Justice, Penelope Islas, Zoey Islas, Rudy Carrejo, Andrew Carrejo, Isaac Carrejo and Isabella Carrejo; her great grandchildren, Adrian, Liam, Mila, Victor and Alexander; and her siblings, Carlos, Socorro, Rosa and Jorge.
