Melody Ann Smelser Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melody Ann Smelser (Warren, Indiana), who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Marvin Glassburn; her spouse Jerry Lee Smelser; and her siblings, William Costello, Michael Costello, Katherine Donaldson and Mark Moorman.
She is survived by: her children, Andrew (Amy) of LaFontaine, Jeff Glassburn of Jonesboro and Beth Buhler (Terry) of Georgetown; her siblings, George Moorman (Amy) of Holland, Ruth Ann Moorman of Muncie and Sue Lessard (Alain) of Berlin, N. H.; and also Smelser. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, two grandchildren-in-law, and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make donations to The Quilter's Hall of Fame in Melody's memory, P.O. Box 681 Marion, IN 46952.
