He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Orton Story and Madgdean Lavon Story (Harper). He is survived by: his spouse Linda Sue Kirts; his children, Melinda Story of Williamsport, IN and Edward "Ed" Story (Raegan) of West Lafayette, IN; his grandchildren, Macki Jo Story and Lanie Sue Story; and his sister Charlotte Layton (Max) of Hendersonville, NC.
