He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schmidt and Hazel Faye Schmidt (Clark); and his brother Kenneth Schmidt. He is survived by: his former wife Janet Knight; his wife Treva Schmidt of Warren, IN; his children, Kyle Schmidt (Angela) of Fountaintown, IN, Chris Schmidt (Lisa) of Warren, IN, Timothy Schmidt (Consetta) of Warren, IN, Debra Howell (Rick) of Warren, IN and Peggy Moore (Marvin) of Hernado, FL; and his brother Jack Schmidt of Leesburg, FL. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
