He was predeceased by: his father Ira Pond. He is survived by: his children, Dr. William Pond (Camillie) of Fort Wayne, Douglas Pond of Indianapolis and Jean Pond Grasmick of Warren; his grandchildren, Dr. Greg Pond (Amy) of Fort Wayne, Scott Pond of New Haven, Jennifer Knepp (Jon-Jon) of Fishers and Joel Aiken of Indianapolis; his great grandchildren, Beatrice, Walker, Eleanor, Holden Knepp and Leo Pond; and his siblings, Pauline Blair (Ralph), Lois Langston (Jess) and Robert Pond.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to Church of Christ, Warren.
