He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Harvey" DeWees and June DeWees (Christy); his sons, Wendell DeWees, David DeWees and Steve DeWees; and his brothers, Billy, Richard and James DeWees.
He is survived by: his children, Harvey DeWees (Sharon) of Laconia, NH and Pamela Winzenburg (Mark) of Katy, TX; and his daughter-in-law Jane DeWees of Kouts, IN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.
