He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mattox and Angelin Miller; and his brother Alfred Mattox. He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Zipay (Joel) of Wanatah and Karen Hentgen (Cory) of Fort Wayne; his granddaughters, Katherine Zipay Gass (Brian, Anna Zipay), Naomi Zipay, Hannah Hentgen and Leah Hentgen; his siblings, Kenny Mattox (Margaret) of Westville, Steve Mattox (Linda) of Wanatah, Janet Mattox of Wisconsin and Linda Miehle (Peter) of Valparaiso; his daughter Sharon L. Mattox; and his nieces, Theresa and Chris. He is also survived by his daughters, sons-in-law, and granddaughters.
