It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven L. Egener (Wanatah, Indiana), born in Griffith, Indiana, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Egener and Eileen Egener (Cartwright); his wife Ellen Clayton; and his brother David. He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Egener of LaPorte, Mark Egener of LaPorte, Shawna Diakis of LaPorte and Clayton Egener of Michigan City. He is also survived by 1 sister and 2 brothers.
