He was predeceased by: his grandfather Kevin Schmidt; and his great-grandparents, Philip Schmidt, John Carr, Shirley Wheeler, Scott Caley and Alan Dehaan.
He is survived by: his parents, Gabriel Schmidt and Veronica Caley; his grandparents, Robyn Schmidt, Steven Caley and Christy Caley; and his great-grandparents, Mary Schmidt, Cynthia Carr, Mary Ziesmer, Eleanor Schmidt and Judy Dehaan. He is also survived by aunts and uncles.
