Eugene Shurte Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2019, at the age of 87, Eugene Shurte (Wanatah, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shurte and Grace Shurte (Schlundt); and his son-in-law Gene Martin. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Sacks; his daughters, Jeanine Hockney (Kirk) of Zionsville, Susan Martin of Wanatah, Sheryl Johnson (Barry) of Valparaiso, Barbara Shurte (Jim Gold) of Corpus Christi, TX and Alissa Clemons (Mike) of Wanatah; his grandchildren, Ashley, Keegan Hockney, Brian Shurte (Andrea), Mark, Alayna Johnson, Alex and Max Clemons; and his great grandchildren, Luke and Lily Shurte.
